Dear Team IsbaRus and Benchmark!

This is regarding the Russia Tour - from 29 Nov to 07 Dec 2024

1) When I met all the team members of Benchmark and ISBA (Svetlana) at OTM 4 or 5 years back ... since then it was in my mind to visit Russia with a group.
After many hurdles - (Covid & Political and other situations / issues) - I did succeed to make it possible this time.

2) We were 22 Indians (including me) ... had a great time in Russia.

3) The itinerary - designed by me & ISBA was so perfect - that we could visit all the places as per schedule.

4) There was a good follow up by the Benchmark team in India.

5) There was timely and excellent support from ISBA - Svetlana & Natalia ... It made all the journey very smooth.

6) Stay was nice and was on good location in Moscow + St Petersburg + Murmansk.

7) Vehicle & the Driver were very good at all 3 places.

8) Breakfast was good at all the staying places.

9) Lunch & Dinner - were excellent at all the places. Especially - we had good Indian Food at Moscow & at St Petersburg as well. Also we had tasty and a variety of local food at Murmansk.

10) Guide - All the guides were excellent at all the places. The guides play a very important part in any tour - especially in foreign country.
The guides - at Moscow - Ms Svetlana ... at SPB - Ms Kate ... at Murmansk - Mr Kirill ... they were excellent ... and all became our member's family friends.

11) All the team of ISBA were so helpful - before going and also on the field as well. I got support throughout the time - from finalizing the dates / schedule / food / vehicle / flights / Sapsan Train etc till arrival in India.

In short ... it was the most memorable tour in my life ... and obviously for all my guests it was a lifetime memory.

We all could see 'Northern Lights' ... that was the memorable scenario.
Will visit Russia again in 2025 and so on as well!

Our journey began in Moscow, where Elena has been a wonderful and kind guide, and has given us a wonderful introduction to Moscow and Russian art and culture. Looking forward to another day of joy with her.
One of the local experiences we tried was a workshop – these workshops seem to be common. This one was walking distance from our hotel, near a beautiful church we visited – Sergey told us he got married here some 24 years ago. After exploring Moscow, we took a day trip outside St Petersburg, and what a day it was! We had a fabulous day today, sightseeing hours outside St Petersburg, to visit the incredible Peterhof palace gardens with its fascinating creative fountains and Catherine the first's gorgeous palace (famous for its recreated amber room). The gardens of both palaces were better than Versailles, in my opinion. A beautiful sunny day, but very cold, so we were well bundled up. With our affection, Camille & Peter
